Today is Election Day in the United States.
Vote early—vote often!
Seriously, be sure to vote today. If you don’t vote, you’ll have no right to complain!
Despite my griping about not liking the choices, I did in fact cast my vote this morning. Remember that some people in some countries don’t have the right to vote or are afraid for their safety if they do.
My bride and I aimed to hit a mid-morning lull at the polling place. Even so, there were lines and we waited about 15 minutes. One of the clerks said that was the slowest it had been all morning.
Tonight, I will sit and watch the returns come in. And then tomorrow we can (hopefully) return to business as usual. I’ve had enough of politics to last me for a long, long time.
